In a dramatic turn of events that rivals anything on the show itself, the Fruit Love Island YouTube channel was removed following a wave of mass reports. Days later, the original TikTok account was reportedly wiped as well. Here's the full breakdown of what happened.

9 Videos Removed at Once

On Tuesday, I shared the news with my 492.4K community board members: around 9 videos were removed simultaneously for "violating community guidelines." People were mass reporting the account, and the removals were hitting hard.

The videos were being flagged and taken down, and the frustration was real. I hoped some would get restored, but it was clear this couldn't go on much longer if the content kept getting deleted.

YouTube as a Backup -- Then That Got Removed Too

In response to the TikTok removals, I created a YouTube channel as a backup plan -- posting all episodes there, both existing and new, while continuing on TikTok as insurance in case the account got banned entirely.

But the YouTube channel didn't last long either. A coordinated campaign of mass reports led to the channel being removed. Reports in Spanish-language media described the removal as a collective action driven by opposition to AI content.

TikTok Account Wiped

Just days after breaking the record for the fastest-growing TikTok account in the platform's history -- surpassing 3 million followers in under two weeks -- my @ai.cinema021 account was wiped. Content disappeared after hitting this milestone. Some episodes became unavailable, and fans scrambled to find copies of their favorite episodes.

Being Honest About the Struggle

I've been open with my fans throughout all of this. These videos take a long time to produce, the image and animation generation has been getting worse, and on top of the technical challenges, the hate and mass removals have been tough to deal with. There were moments where motivation was running low.

But I'll get through it. And I proved it -- despite everything, I pushed forward to deliver what fans had been waiting for: the Casa Amor arc, which kicked off with Episode 20 and is now in full swing.

Is Fruit Love Island Over?

Absolutely not. The show has continued past Episode 22, Casa Amor has arrived with 7 new characters, and my 492.4K-strong community board is more active than ever -- voting on bed pairs, debating new characters, and showing incredible support. The setbacks were real, but Fruit Love Island isn't going anywhere.
