UPDATE: Season 2 Veggie Love Island is LIVE!
New cast. New villa. All vegetables. Watch on the new account.
It is over. After 23 episodes, more recouplings than anyone could keep track of, a Casa Amor that broke hearts on both sides, and more drama than most real reality shows manage in a full series — Fruit Love Island Season 1 has a winner.
The public voted. And the public chose Cherrita.
What Happened in the Finale
The final episode is short, sharp, and exactly what it needed to be. The host opens the announcement, the room reacts, and then Cherrita gets her crown and her moment at the microphone. She uses it exactly as you would expect from someone who has been the most confident presence in the villa since day one.
Her acceptance speech, in full: “I’d like to thank the public and everyone who doubted me. This crown was always mine. You losers suck!”
And that is Cherrita. Gracious to the people who believed in her. Completely unbothered about everyone else. The perfect ending to her arc.
Watch the full finale at Episode 23: The Final. It is worth watching just for the speech.
Why Cherrita Won
From the very first coupling ceremony, Cherrita made it clear she was playing the long game. She was paired with Grapenzo early, had eyes on Orangelo, navigated Casa Amor without panicking, and came out the other side as the islander who never lost her composure or her confidence.
She was not the loudest in every room. But when she spoke, people listened. The public responded to that. In a villa full of chaos, she was the constant — the one character who always knew exactly who she was and what she wanted.
The public vote reflects that. She was not a surprise winner. She was the inevitable one.
A Note From the Host
After Cherrita’s victory, the host signed off Season 1 with something that felt genuinely earned: “Well, viewers, everything must come to an end. Thank you for watching this series and I’m sorry it had to end this way. Love you guys!”
That apology — “sorry it had to end this way” — is the kind of self-aware humor this show has always been built on. The chaos was the point. The characters knowing the chaos was the point was the meta-layer on top. It has been 23 episodes of that, and it worked every single time.
